Jan. 17, 2008 - 20:43 MST ADULT COMMON SENSE Yesterday's Rocky Mountain News, had an article dealing with the recent bridge collapse in Minneapolis. Although the article had many words, very little bad was said. It pointed out that gusset plates that joined beams were rouhly half the thickness they should have been. Period. No accusations of graft or such. Just laid it out so that proper procedures can take place in the future and proper actions in repair of present erections.. It the same paper today it says that out state will start reinspection of bridges here. Perhaps with this method of attack, our highway infrastructure can be brought into good condition by using ADULT COMMON SENSE . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2 comments so far
