Oct. 13, 2007 - 20:18 MDT DOTH TOLL ? Through the year in various forms of media we see the results of one or another poll. And no matter what the subject, it always makes me wonder who put the time and money into running the poll and what they are trying to accomplish by doing so. Along with that comes a careful look at the wording of any poll. Are the poll questions slanted so as to produce a desired answer ? Seems like the closer to an election the more polls are floated, an armada of solicited opinion. And how many polls have been conducted to "prove" how low our president has sunk in public opinion ? Who are the ones polled and how were the questions worded ? An attempt, it would appear, to credit or discredit. How unfair it might be the attempt to sway public opinion and a try to abolish the electoral process perhaps ? An attempt to, "Pull the poll over the public's eyes," maybe ?
