WHAT FURTHER DAMAGE ? ? ?

Seems like the further things go, they worse they get.

According to what I read in the newspapers Fred Fielding (White House counsel) renewed the WHite House offer to let Miers, Taylor and other administration officials meet with congressional investigators OFF THE RECORD AND WITH NO TRANSCRIPT Regarding the firings of U.S. attorneys.

I guess in Mr. Bush's mind, whatever he does he can claim executive privilege. Much like commuting Libby's sentence.

Basically admitting, "Yeah, he's guilty but I want him to not serve his sentence."

One fly in the Democrats move to subpoena folks was brought up by Sen. Arlen Spector R-Pa. He said, "On a case like this, does anyone believe the U.S. attorney is going to bring a criminal contempt citation against anyone ?"

To me, it looks as time goes on the Pollutocans will keep messing things up thus making it more difficult for the next adminsitration to get things going right again.

In the meantime, the rich will get richer logarithmically and along with inflation the poor will soon be in one heck of a bind - - those of us who aren't already.

Along with the "Mission Accomplished" high handedness, I wonder WHAT FURTHER DAMAGE ? ? ? . . . . . . . . . . . .
