Mar. 07, 2007 - 19:40 MST FROM THE FRONT The days are very long when a loved one is sick in hospital. So it is this time. Heather triaged fairly early afternoon and taken into emergency at 7;30 PM, usual tests made entailing bloods and urine specimens to be analyzed, as well they did a CAT scan. Hours later results scanned by doctors, and relayed to us. Heather to be kept in overnight. Come this morning a decision was made that CAT Scan was not accurate enough and they would do an MRI. Late this afternoon the doctor informed us that several doctors, radiologists and so forth would have to make a decision on what they found. Still a possiblity they will go in with a scope, and maybe take a biopsy to boot. Due to the fact that Heather lost her younger sister to cancer, her mother to cancer and had breast cancer herself, I am all for doing a biopsy, but that is me and she will have to decide one way or another if the choice is offered her. At the moment all I can do is try to patiently wait to see what shall come of this. Too tired and drug out to do more than answer a couple of e-mails and go to bed, so as to go at it again tomorrow morning. The battle of health is not easily won, and diagnosing things not easy come by. So much FROM THE FRONT . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 13 comments so far
