Feb. 18, 2007 - 23:55 MST ONE WAY OR ANOTHER The political briefing in The Dennver Post today gives the word that Mr. Bush is pushing yet. Quoted in full herein: WASHINGTON BUSH CONTINUES PUSH FOR PRIVATE INSURANCE "President Bush urged Congress again Saturday to create a tax break to help people buy private health insurance outside the workplace." "Repeating points from his State Of The Union address, Bush said that he wanted to create a standard tax deduction for health insurance and that he would "continue to reach across party llines to enact common-sense health care reforms." "Health care costs are rising rapidly, more than twice as fast as wages," Bush said in his weekly radio address. "These rising costs are driving up the price of health insurance." ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Personally I can't see any tax deduction that will help Joe Q. Public pay for adequate medical insurance. Smoke and mirrors as per usual. Methinks it is all a sham and that Joe Q. Public will pay through the nose ONE WAY OR ANOTHER . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 comments so far
