Jan. 03, 2007 - 00:16 MST THE DAY SLIPPED BY And here it is very early Wednesday. It was a fun day for sure, bitter sweet at the end. Breakfast with kin, and then an early visit to the Denver Art Museum along with son-in-law's parents. Hope to publish a picture or two from there, that new wing is fabulous. Thence to Cherry Creek's "Noodles Inc." where we each ordered our favorite dinners, all of us having been there often enough to know what we wanted. We had a nice long vist over the meal and coffee thereafter and broke up with hugs and sighs. Then to our home to prepare for son-in-law's departure, along with their two kids for their Oregon home. That's the bittersweet part, partings don't come easy for me. But we do have our daughter with us for a couple more days, and then good byes all over again, forceably telling myself, "Doug, don't you dare cry," but the tendency will still be there. Sitting home after their departure and watching TV for a time, and another day departed, followed by Wednesday. Somehow THE DAY SLIPPED BY . . . . . . . . . . . 4 comments so far
