NOT FORGOTTEN

Sixty-five years is more than many people of this world live. The newspapers are alive with things about Pearl Harbor.

One article notes that Congress has agreed to spend $38 million to restore 10 internment camps where more than 120,000 people of Japanese ancestry were kept during World War Two.

There is much to be Googled about the subject so there is little use to go too deeply into it.

But the thing that sticks in my mind is perhaps people can be taught that things like Guantanamo should not exist, period. The acts of "Rendition" are also akin to that also and should be taught that it an offense to humanity to do such things.

George Santayana's words are not being listened to by the biggies of our country it appears. "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

It would be so wonderful if that type of thing would cease world-wide as of this minute. Yeah, right - - - - I dream about other things too.

This man has NOT FORGOTTEN . . . . . . . . . . . .
