Oct. 07, 2005 - 19:46 MDT THE INEVITABLE After all it is October, but yet the sight of our deep green grass whitely frosted this morning as I went out to get the newspaper was a shock to my equanimity. But the sun came out and the grass stayed vibrantly green, our geraniums and Mum plant after being covered overnight shrugged their shoulders and cheerfully bloomed. A sign that Jack's Frosty Knife will soon be cutting a swath through tender growing plants and numbing exposed digits will soon be a part of our life. There just is no satisfying some people like me. Whatever is, I don't want and whatever isn't is what I crave, or perhaps a mixture that makes everything vanilla. Ready or not, winter comes and I must face THE INEVITABLE . . . . . . . . . . . . . 0 comments so far
