Jul. 07, 2005 - 19:21 MDT WHO ? Going about the necessities of life today while carrying the burden of sadness over the lives lost and lives ruined in Britain today made things a bit grimy to say the least. A parallel of a similar nature was drawn comparing todays action with bombings by the IRA some time ago. To me bombing of innocents is one of the most vile, cruel senseless things that can ever be done. Harming people, even children, who have done no harm to prove a point, is an act of extreme idiocy done by people of little sane thought, is my idea. It appears that many countries have terrorist groups, groups who have caused profound misery, yet failed to really gain a thing for themselves other than a bad reputation for killing and maiming. I think in Spain the Basques have been active on the terrorist front, for instance. What point is being proven ? Who is showing who what ? This is not a game where score is kept by the number of dead bodies piled anywhere. Nor does anything like terrorism gain friends or supporters of the sane kind. Doesnt win any land or real concessions or cause any laws to be made in the terrorist's favor. What kind of twisted psyches convince people to become suicide bombs ? Is their own life of such little value to enable them to give it up to make a very minor point ? Minor that is, in making a change occur for the terrorists benefit. How can this anathematic, vile, unspeakable activity be combatted effectively ? It is almost as if the world has contracted a fatal disease that has no antibiotic cure or method of control and it seems to be spreading rapidly at least the idea of terrorizing people is epidemic now I guess. The big question is when the time comes, who do you punish, WHO ? . . . . . . . . . . . 0 comments so far
