Apr. 22, 2004 - 23:32 MST THE WONDERING JEW To Think Got in town a bit late, or into DIA today, miles from town. Then found out that Super Shuttle had moved across the terminal. Found them, paid for a shuttle ride. Then having to fend off people who were not Super Shuttle hawkers, we finally got to one we needed. By the time the driver pulled away the van was cram packed with people and luggage. Which wasn't so bad in itself, but one passenger was in a hurry (weren't we all ?) and was going off in a different direction than the rest of us were going. Then one passenger knew the location but not the address or building number, just the general location, so the driver milled around 'til he brought a building into sight the passenger recognized, (It was three buildings away. At one time we were near to the way home but instead we were passengers on a short tour of the Denver area. Got in at 5:30 PM - got home at 8:30 PM. Of course we never leave milk in the fridge to sour, so we got our luggage in and stashed in a corner and headed out to Denny's for a quick and dirty meal and to pick up a gallon of milk. Got home at 10:15 PM. Just had to rest a bit and do a place holder entry. Yesterday they took the pin out of Cyrano's leg and put it into a sling for an unspecified time, gee that dog is a whiz on three legs. He knew something was up this morning and he clung to our sides pretty much. Daughter said this afternoon they took him to the park where he enjoyed himself to the max. Heather called our son's number but got no answer, I expect we will get him in the morning and see how he is doing. I am sure that something happened in the world for me to gripe about, but was too busy going in circles to know. So as a consequence I am too tired to tell a tale or be funny, actually too tired To Think . . . . . . . . 0 comments so far
