Sept. 10, 2003 - 22:36 MDT THE WONDERING JEW One Day Early this morning we had a phone call from Heather's brother that he was on his way to Denver. It eased her mind considerably to know that he would be here. The funeral was set for Friday, but Fort Logan had some conflicting scheduling and so the funeral will be tomorrow around noon. Interment at Fort Logan about two in the afternoon. Heather's brother showed up at our place not too long after dark, visited a while and is in bed now, as is Heather. Our day was spent taking care of a mass of details with little time to cogitate here and there. Heather saw her surgeon today amid everything else. He said the surgery will be done and that the ?scheduler? will give her a phone call on the date and time it will be. We had feared that once again her appointment would be once again put off. But it wasn't, sigh of relief. In the morning we will order the flowers from a shop near the chapel where the funeral will be held. Clothes ready and set out. Haircut today for me. We ate in between times. Seems like we have been running on automatic since then, and maybe we have. One more day, just One Day . . . . . . . . . . . . . 0 comments so far
