2000-05-03 - 22:50:59 May 3, 2000 Man's View Bastion is addicted to people watching and forming some probably ridiculous estimates of what the scene shows. Last year at a flea market, I watched this young lady, doing her parady and as I watched her, this doggerel came to mind. TO THE NINES Tinkle tankle, Jingle jankle, Her jewelry plays it's tune. The dial for a while says it's noon. Clip, clop, Clack, clock, Her high heels keep the beat. Mousy, Blowsy, Houzy, Lousy, She's the junker's treat. Sniff, Snuff, Whiff, Whuff, Her perfume over powers, What stuff, Is this bluff, Shamming flowers. Slish, slash, Color clash, Her garb is age. Aghast, , ablast, Against the mast, Ridicule is her wage. Why try ? Guy nigh ? Her get up, A setup to a faster disaster ! Her face is a faster catcher, Of Junkland's master monster making scheme. So, one in the barrel spoiled Leaves the others soiled. That is the petty cut rate theme. bastion, in the throes of compose. 0 comments so far
