Like The Poem

In trying to figure myself out sometimes the attempt is made to make a comparison between another kind of living creature and me. I guess a poem of Robert Graves comes closest to describing me.

FLYING CROOKED

The butterfly, a cabbage-white,

(his honest idiocy of flight)

Will never now, it is too late,

Master the art of flying straight,

Yet has - who knows as well as I ? -

A just sense of how not to fly:

He lurches here and here by guess

And God and hope and hopelessness.

Even the acrobatic swift

Has not his flying crooked gift.

Golly, that seems to be the way I navigate through life -- flying crooked.

Last night I went into a frenzied dream state and came up with a few things I would like to invent. I thought it was far out, but Bonnie of the Chattering chided me because I didn't think of an invention to eliminate Spam.

Gee, all my time and effort spent deleting that damn spam and yet the idea was not at the head of my want to do list ?

ZZZssst, ching, ching, blat. Aha not a device to eliminate spam pe se is needed. But a magical, fantastic Spam-a-rang. Every rig on the net should have one. Every bit of spam coming to a persons screen would be turned around and sent simultaneously to every spammer in the world and to every isp catering to spammers.

Why the heck not ? We all spend a group of time and effort making growly, red faces while deleting spam when we fire up in the morning and have more spam than real e-mail. I can't see that I need a two for one offer on anything let alone penile size. I don't even believe most of the stuff on sham-scam-spam. Do the spammers actually get any return on all that stuff ? How much do they pay for the lists they buy ?

Yep, Spam-A-Rang is the way to go I think.

I need help, lots of it. Scientific folk, production specialists, the whole gamut of research, development and production people working on this. For a decent share of the profits would you work on this with me ?

I have the perfect sales technique. We will buy up all the lists and SPAM the world over trying to sell our device. Those who delete our bit of stuff deserve to go without. I think it might work and if nothing else would give us an accurate idea of who tunes out spam
